Borrowed from Iranian.[1] Compare Persian دادویه (dâduya, dâdôê), Ancient Greek Δαδόης (Dadóēs). For the constituents see Old Armenian Դատ (Dat) and Persian ـویه (-ôê, -uya, -uye).
