From Persian البته (albatte, “of course”), from Arabic اَلْبَتَّة (al-batta).
Cognate with Tatar әлбәттә (älbättä), Kazakh әлбетте (älbette), Kyrgyz албетте (albette), Uzbek albatta, Turkmen elbetde, Azerbaijani əlbəttə, Turkish elbette, etc.
