ғәләйһи-ссәләм

From Arabic عليه السلام‎ (ʕalayhi s-salām, “peace be upon him”).

1. (Islam, eulogy) peace be upon him (an honorific phrase used by Muslims after any mention of prophets or angels)

   Исрафил (ғәләйһи-ссәләм) фәрештә Сурға өргәндән һуң бөтә йәндәр ҙә үлә.

   Esrafel (ğələyhe-ssələm) fəriştə Sorğa ürgəndən hoñ bütə yəndər ðə ölə.

   After Angel Israfil (peace be upon him) blows the Sur (~trumpet), all living beings will die.

   Муса ғәләйһи-ссәләмдең көтөүендә 15 меңләгән һарыҡ булған. Кис һанаһа, бер бәрәс тулмай икән.

   Mosa ğələyhe-ssələmdiñ kütüwində 15 miñləgən harıq bolğan. Kes hanaha, bir bərəs tolmay ekən.

   There were some 15 thousand sheep in Musa's herd, peace be upon him. When he counted (the sheep once) in the evening, he found out that one lamb was missing.

• This interjection is used in postposition. As seen in the example about Musa, it takes the inflection instead of the name it follows.
