Cognate with Kazakh жалаңаш (jalañaş), Kyrgyz жылаңач (jılaŋaç), Southern Altai јылаҥаш (ǰïlaŋaš, naked, nude), Crimean Tatar calanğaş (naked, barefoot), Uyghur يالاڭاچ (yala'ngach) / يالاڭغاچ (yalangghach, bare, naked), etc.
