Etymology
From цетвьрте (cetvĭrte, “fourth”) + -ьне (-ĭne). Cognate with Old East Slavic четвьртьнъ (četvĭrtĭnŭ), Russian четвертно́й (četvertnój), Ukrainian четвертни́й (četvertnýj).
