Cognate with Kazakh сату (satu), Kyrgyz сатуу (satuu), Crimean Tatar satmaq, Kumyk сатмакъ (satmaq), Azerbaijani satmaq, Turkish satmak, Turkmen satmak, Uzbek sotmoq, Khakas садарға (sadarğa), Shor садарға, Tuvan садар (sadar), Western Yugur sat-, etc.
