Borrowed from French policlinique or German Poliklinik,[1] ultimately from Ancient Greek πόλις (pólis) and κλῑνικός (klīnikós). Compare Russian поликли́ника (poliklínika), Belarusian паліклі́ніка (paliklínika), Polish poliklinika.
