довтлох

Mongolian

Etymology

From Proto-Mongolic *dobtul-, compare Daur dortulgw (to rush someone).

Perhaps from the same root as давших (davšix, to advance) and давхих (davxix, to gallop) which could be connected to Proto-Turkic *dabra- (to hurry), (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?) see Turkish davranmak.
