Cognate with Old Uyghur [script needed] (bešägü, “five as a group”); Bashkir бишәү (bişəw, “five as a group”), Kazakh бесеу (beseu, “five as a group”), Kumyk бешев (beşew, “five as a group”), Kyrgyz бешөө (beşöö, “five”), etc.
