λαρινός

See also: λάρινος

Ancient Greek

Etymology

Unclear. Perhaps from λᾱρός (lārós, pleasent to the taste, sweet, dainty) + -ινός (-inós), however, the word also recalls Latin laridum (lard). May be of shared substrate origin with the Latin.
