Idea

Vaccum cleaner robots are being purchased, break and are being discarded. They make excellent wheels or platforms to build other robots on top of. Some manufacturers actually sell educational versions of these platforms. The goal is to solicit broken robots, reverse engineer them and then repurpose the parts.

This is also being done with old gaming controllers, re-purposing them to control robots.
