Sarah Carter is a Prosthetist/Orthotist working at the Alfred Hosptial in Melbourne. Sarah will be presenting a lecture of Orthotic Managment of burns with a focus on the upperlimb. The lecture will give you an overview of the common causes of burns injuries in the upper limb, a review of anatomy of the skin and classification of burns injuries. She will discuss the complications of burns injuries and rehabiliation of these. A case study will provide contextual learning.
