Hoax articles on the English Wikipedia

At various times, and for various reasons, many 'hoax' articles have been created on the English wikipedia. These vary from rather silly spoofs, which seem to be intended to be funny when found, to more serious and involved creations which seem to have some more complex motivations and executions.
