Now that you know how to form your embouchure and how to control your breath, we will start to learn how to put that learning into practice. First, let's learn a note and how to play it.
In bass clef, this is a F and is fingered using the open fingering (no valves pressed). To play this note, first play it on a piano and match the pitch with your voice and then attempt matching that pitch with your instrument.
