ERP Accounting - From Basics to Financial Management
Objectives
The objectives of this subject are:
- To grasp the core Accounting Principles behind ERP processes
- To appreciate the global different localisation on Accounting
- To know the Accounting Consequences of the main Document Types
- To understand the Financial Management needs and issues of ERP
Learning Outcomes
On completion of this subject the students shall be able to:
- Demonstrate basic simple accounting equations
- Perform GL Journal entries in the ERP application
- Trace the Accounting Consequence of each document process in ERP
- Troubleshoot and suggest modifications to the accounting model
- Produce Financial Reports from the ERP System
Sypnosis
This subject handles just enough accounting and financial aspects of the ERP system. It covers the supply chain accounting consequences, where the ERP produces a complete balanced set of financial reports for periodic as well as regulatory purposes.
