In 2014 Spotify launched a video in which they explain how they changed Agile working. They found out that some of the scrum best practices (sprint planning meeting, estimation, burndown chart, velocity) were getting in the way. They decided that Agile working was more important than scrum. They decided:

• make all practices optional
• change 'scrum master' to 'Agile coach'
• to make autonymous squads
