Educ: Westminster School; University College, Oxford, 2nd class honours in classical moderations and in law; scholarship in international and constitutional law at the Middle Temple; for ten years coached pupils for the Bar examination. Publications: contributor to many papers and magazines, particularly The World ; author and composer of many songs; author of various lyrics and of a play entitled All Fletcher's Fault, produced at the Avenue Theatre, and of Common Room Carols, Two on a Tour, and Songs of a Session; Founder and first editor of The Isis.
