And you, God, are a Shield for me, my Honor and the Lifter up of my head.

Ibn Ezra

And you. A Shield

A noun; and it's not a verb, for it would have been proper for it to be on the derivation pattern of (Jeremiah 21:4): "Behold! I am turning back". And the intention of a Shield is that he does not come in war. And the intention of my Honor is because whoever wins has honor.
