PUREFOY, Wilfred Bagwell. Breeder of bloodstock, director of companies, &c.; b. 1862. Eldest son of Col. Edward Bagwell Purefoy, of Greenfields, and Charlotte, fourth dau. of John Green Wilkinson. Educ.: Harrow; Sandhurst. In 3rd Hussars for six years then went on the turf; started a big stud at Greenfields, Tipperary, and became director of various companies. Res.: Greenfields, Tipperary.
