COMYN, Nicholas O'Connell; b. 19th June, 1869; eldest son of late Andrew Nugent Comyn. Educ.: Oscott College, Birmingham, and T.C.D.; served in the S. A. War, 1899-1901, and in the Transvaal Mounted Police, 1901-1908. Recns.: hunting, shooting; J.P., Co. Galway; High Sheriff, Co. Galway, 1917; m. 1911, Mary Cecilia, elder dau. of Francis W. Mahony, Blarney, and has issue four sons and two daus. Res.: Ballinderry, Kilconnell.
