On Saturday, the 5th inst., in Thistle-grove, Brompton, Mr, Frederick Shoberl, sen., in his 78th year, after a short and painful illness, universally beloved and regretted by all who knew him. Mr. Shoberl was well known for his classical attainments, and as a writer of no ordinary repute, having, during his long and arduous career, produced a succession of most interesting and useful works in almost every department of our literature.

This work was published before January 1, 1927 and it is anonymous or pseudonymous due to unknown authorship. It is in the public domain in the United States as well as countries and areas where the copyright terms of anonymous or pseudonymous works are 100 years or less since publication.
