​Lalbhai Dalpatbhai, Sardar; b. 1864; educ: St. Mary’s College, and Elphinstone College, Bombay; President of the Committee of Management of the Shetrunja temples in Kathiawar; General Secretary of the Jain Conference for many years; Director of many Railway, Navigation, Spinning and Weaving Companies; has built a Dharmasala at Ahmedabad and a girls’ school; floated the Saraspur Manufacturing Company, 1897, the Raipur Manufacturing Company, 1905; Member, Ahmedabad District Board; State Guest at Delhi Durbar, 1911.
