Baldeo Singh, L.M.S., Rai Bahadur; born, 1859; educated at the Fyzabad High School and Lahore Medical College; belongs to a Rajput family whose ancestors were in the service of Emperor Akbar and had been granted territory near Amethi; his uncles are known to have been on the side of the British in the Mutiny of 1857; father was in the service of Maharaja Sir Man Singh; owns a Zemindari in the District of Sultanpur: Honorary Asstistant Surgeon to His Excellency the Viceroy.
