JOB HANMER, Esq.
[Post-Captain of 1822.]
Son of the late Commander Job Hanmer, R.N., and nephew to Sir Thomas Hanmer, Bart.
This officer was made lieutenant Jan. 4, 1808; promoted to the command of the Flamer brig, June 6, 1814; and posted, while commanding the Heron 18, on the St. Helena station, July 19, 1822. He married. May 13, 1823, Harriet, youngest daughter of the late Thomas Dawson, of Edwardston Hall, in Suffolk, Esq.
