| 101:001 | The Shocker. | AlqariAAatu |
| 101:002 | What is the Shocker? | Ma alqariAAatu |
| 101:003 | And how would you know what the Shocker is? | Wama adraka ma alqariAAatu |
| 101:004 | The Day when people come out like swarms of butterflies. | Yawma yakoonu alnnasu kaalfarashi almabthoothi |
| 101:005 | And the mountains will be like fluffed up wool. | Watakoonu aljibalu kaalAAihni almanfooshi |
| 101:006 | As for him whose weights are heavy. | Faamma man thaqulat mawazeenuhu |
| 101:007 | He will be in a happy life. | Fahuwa fee AAeeshatin radiyatin |
| 101:008 | As for him whose weights are light. | Waamma man khaffat mawazeenuhu |
| 101:009 | His destiny is the lowest. | Faommuhu hawiyatun |
| 101:010 | And how would you know what it is? | Wama adraka ma hiyah |
| 101:011 | A blazing Fire. | Narun hamiyatun |
