In 1900 there were 206,061 foreigners (99,119 males and 106,942 females) in Belgium. Of these 63,923 were Dutch, 56,576 French, 53,578 German, 10,417 Luxembourgeoi-s 5,748 British, 3,543 Italian, 2,991 Austro-Hungarian, 2,351 Russian, 2,231 Swiss, and 4,523 of other nationalities.
