7. Ground color white faintly tinged with Hchen-green (pl. IHIII). epotted and lightly blotched, very evenly over the entire surface, with vinaceous drab (pl. XLV) and hazel (pl. xv), but principally the former color. The blending of these two colors, which are very closely intermixed, give to the egg a pecu- liar "pinkish-red" effect. [Egg in set 38.] 8.
