Brasenose Coll., Oxon, a member of the North-eastern circuit, a student of Lincoln's Inn 4 May, 1872 (aged 21), called to the bar 30 April, 1875 (4th son of Rev. David Bruce, of Merrington House, co. Durham, hon. canon of Durham Cathedral); born ⁠ ⁠, 1851.
