Bidwell, Shelford, M.A., Caius Coll., Camb., 1873, LL.B. 1872, a member of the South-eastern circuit, a writer on electricity, a student of Lincoln's Inn 23 April, 1870 (then aged 22), called to the bar 27 Jan., 1873 (eldest son of Shelford Clarke Bidwell, Esq., of Thetford, Norfolk); born 6 March, 1848; married 8 April, 1874, Annie Wilhelmina Evelyn, dau. of Rev. Edward Firmstone, of Hyde Abbey, Manchester, and has issue.
