Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946

An Act
To provide for increased efficiency in the legislative branch of the Government.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE; SEPARABILITY CLAUSE.

(a) SHORT TITLE.—

This Act, divided into titles and sections according to the following table of contents, may be cited as the ``Legislative Reorganization Act of 1946´´.

Table of Contents

(b) SEPARABILITY CLAUSE.—

If any provision of this Act or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the validity of the remainder of the Act and of the application of such provisions to other persons and circumstances shall net be affected thereby.
