A CHILD'S THOUGHT

THE world is full of happy words,
And kind and pleasant people,
The forests have their trees and birds,
The churches have their steeple.
The steeples have their silver bells,
That chime for brides and parted,
And cities have their crystal wells,
Where drink the thirsty-hearted.
