It is hereby ordered that the following-described lands and rights-of-way, situated on the Island of Oahu, Territory of Hawaii, be reserved from sale and set apart, subject to private rights, if any there be, for observation stations and rights-of-way thereto, in connection with the defensive works of said island, viz:
- (a) That parcel of public land on Round Top (or Ualakaa) included within metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at a point on the summit of Round Top bearing N. 41° 34′ E., and distant 100 feet from the Ualakaa Triangulation Station, and running thence, by true bearings, S. 86° 24′ W. 319 feet; thence S. 31° 01′ W. 133.2 feet; thence S. 14° 40′ W. 149 feet; thence S. 30° 04′ E. 224.8 feet; thence N. 74° 15′ E. 87.3 feet; thence N. 53° 37′ E. 157.7 feet; thence N. 44° 35′ E. 295 feet; thence N. 35° 58′ W. 179.8 feet, to the initial point: containing 3.68 acres, more or less.
(b) That strip of land, 20 feet wide, connecting the reservation above described with a proposed public road for a right-of-way for a road, bridle path, or telephone line, included within metes and bounds as follows:Beginning at the end of the fourth course of the Round Top Reservation, above described, and running thence by true bearings N. 30° 04′ W. 27.2 feet along said reservation; thence S. 17° 15′ W. 485.2 feet to the proposed Tantalus Heights Road; thence N. 83° 37′ E. 21.8 feet along the upper side of said road; thence N. 17° 15′ E. 458 feet to the initial point: containing 0.22 acre, more or less.
(c) A strip of land, 10 feet wide, for a right-of-way from said Round Top Reservation to Manoa Heights Road, extending 5 feet on each side of a line drawn from the Ualakaa Triangulation Station to said road; the true bearing of said line being S. 45° E.
(d) A strip of land, 10 feet wide, for a right-of-way from said Round Top Reservation, to the Sugar Loaf reservation, hereinafter described, extending 5 feet on each side of a line drawn from the Ualakaa Triangulation Station to said Sugar Loaf reservation; the true bearing of said line being N. 33° 14′ E. - (a) That parcel of public land on Sugar Loaf (or Kakea) included within metes and bounds as follows:
Beginning at the west corner of the "Olindita" property; said corner bearing S. 63° 30′ E. and distant 334 feet from the Kakea Triangulation Station; and running thence, by true bearings, N. 41° 15′ E. 100 feet along the said "Olindita" property; thence N. 49° 30′ W. 173 feet along same property; thence N. 75° 08′ W. 239.5 feet to a point bearing N. 1° 04′ E. and distant 100 feet from the Kakea Triangulation Station; thence S. 70° 34′ W. 214.9 feet; thence S. 9° E. 185.5 feet to a point bearing N. 32° 08′ E. from the Ualakaa Triangulation Station; thence S. 32° 23′ E. 90 feet; thence S. 87° 15′ E. 159 feet; thence N. 76° 29′ E. 192.1 feet; thence N. 60° E. 88.8 feet to the initial point: containing 3.14 acres, more or less.
(b) A strip of land, 20 feet wide, for a right-of-way for a bridle path or road to connect the Sugar Loaf reservation with existing trails, included within metes and bounds as follows:
