Mrs. Kathleen M. Glancy may be appointed to a clerical position in the Department of Justice without compliance with the requirements of the civil-service rules.
Mrs. Glancy is the widow of John E. Glancy, who was employed in the Department of Justice for more than 24 years. He died on May 16, 1932, after an illness of two years, leaving his widow and three young children without means of support.
This order is recommended by the Attorney General.
