Dr. Walter R. Brinckerhoff may be appointed as chief or director of the hospital station and laboratory established under authority of an act approved March 3, 1905, making provision for the investigation of leprosy, with special reference to the care and treatment of lepers in Hawaii, subject to noncompetitive examination by the Civil Service Commission.
