Under the provisions of section 4 of the act making appropriations for sundry civil expenses of the Government for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1920, and for other purposes, approved July 19, 1919, it is hereby ordered and directed that the chairman of the Committee on Public Information relinquish and transfer to the Council of National Defense all papers, files, records, public property, assets, and liabilities, and all effects of whatsoever kind, and that upon such relinquishment and transfer the Committee on Public Information shall cease and be at an end.
