Paragraph 5, Subdivision III, of Schedule A of the civil service rules relating to the Treasury Department is hereby amended to read as follows:

  1. One private secretary or confidential clerk to the superintendent in each mint and in the assay office at New York.


This paragraph heretofore read:

  1. One private secretary or confidential clerk to the superintendent, one cashier in each mint, and one cashier in the assay office at New York.
