Amner, John, bachelor of music, and organist of the cathedral of Ely, lived in the beginning of the seventeenth century. He published "Sacred Hymns of three, four, five, and six Parts, for Voices and Viols," London, 1615 ; likewise some anthems, the words of which are to be found in Clifford's collection.
