Warren Bert Kimberly

Warren Bert Kimberly, an American, came to Australia from Chicago in the mid-1880s and edited commemorative histories of the gold mining towns of Ballarat and Bendigo. In 1897 he edited a major work on Western Australia. All three works were published by F.W. Niven & Co. in Melbourne.

Works

Some or all works by this author are in the public domain in Australia because they were created in Australia and the term of copyright has expired.

See Australian Copyright Council - Duration of Copyright (January 2019).

Some or all works by this author are also in the public domain in the United States because they were in the public domain in Australia in 1996, and no copyright was registered in the U.S. (This is the combined effect of Australia having joined the Berne Convention in 1928, and of 17 USC 104A with its critical date of January 1, 1996.)

Some or all works by this author are in the public domain in the United States because they were published before January 1, 1927. They may be copyrighted outside the U.S. (see Help:Public domain). However, works published before 1927 may be in the public domain in countries where they would ordinarily be copyrighted (due to the term of 70 years [or less] after the author's death having not yet expired) but whose legislature has waived copyright by accepting the rule of the shorter term.
