Robert Matteson Johnston
(1867–1920)

American historian, who wrote mainly on military history. Born in Paris and educated at Eton College and Pembroke College, Cambridge; taught at Harvard and Mount Holyoke College; Assistant Professor of Modern History in Harvard University (1914)
