Kate Norgate
(1853–1935)
British historian, daughter of Frederic Norgate. One of the first women to achieve academic success in this sphere. Best known for her history of England under the Angevin kings and the name Angevin Empire to describe their domains.
This author wrote articles for the Dictionary of National Biography, and the list on this page is complete to 1901.
