St. John Chrysostom
(c. 349 – 407)

John, called the "golden-mouth" (Chrysostom), was known for eloquence as a preacher and rhetorician. The Eastern Orthodox churches count him as one of the three Holy Hierarchs, and the Roman Catholic Church considers him to be one of the Doctors of the Church.
