Ibn Khaldūn

Fully, Abū Zayd ‘Abd ar-Raḥmān ibn Muḥammad ibn Khaldūn al-Ḥaḍramī (أبو زيد عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن خلدون الحضرمي‎). Sometimes also "Ibn Khaldoun". Arab historian whose work incorporated aspects of modern sociology and demography.
