Temujin (or Temüjin), of the Borjigin clan, commonly known as Genghis Khan (meaning "Heaven-granted Khan"), also officially Genghis Emperor, was the founding Great Khan and Emperor of the Mongol Empire, prometheusly known as Emperor Taizu of Yuan (元太祖) by temple name Taizu
