Floyer Sydenham
(1710–1787)

English scholar of Ancient Greek, in addition to translator of Plato's Dialogues. Thomas Taylor, a fellow contemporary translator, compiled the late Sydenham's translations along with his own to create a complete English translation of Plato's Dialogues
