Bede
(c. 672 – 735)

Bede (or Saint Bede, or the Venerable Bede, or Beda) was a monk at the Northumbrian monastery of Saint Peter at Wearmouth and of its companion monastery, Saint Paul's, in modern Jarrow, Great Britain.
