138 Ch'ang Chü 長沮. A man who was working in the fields on one occasion when Confucius, passing by, wished to find out the whereabouts of a ford. Tzǔ Lu was sent to enquire of him; whereupon the man pointed significantly towards the Master and said, "He knows the ford." See Chieh Ni.
