Yoshiro Hayashi (politician)
Yoshiro Hayashi (林 義郎, Hayashi Yoshirō, 16 June 1927 – 3 February 2017) was a Japanese politician. He was a member of the Liberal Democratic Party. He served as the Minister of Health and Welfare from 1982 to 1983 and the Minister of Finance from 1992 to 1993.
Hayashi was born in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture. He studied at the University of Tokyo. He had a son and a daughter. His son, Yoshimasa, was also a politician.
Hayashi died from multiple organ failure on 3 February 2017 at the age of 89.[1]
