Yaakov Agmon

Yaakov Agmon (Hebrew: יעקב אגמון) (24 June 1929 16 December 2020) was an Israeli theater producer, manager, and director. He was born in Tel Aviv. He was director of United Jewish Appeal and also as a columnist and the secretary of the Rimon weekly publication.

In 1978, he founded Beit Lessin Theater.[1] In 1995, Agmon was appointed general and artistic director of the Habima Theatre.[2] In 2010, Agmon was appointed general manager of the Arabic-Hebrew theater of Jaffa.[3]

Agmon died on 16 December 2020 at a hospital in Ramat Gan from COVID-19 at the age of 91.[4]
