Edward Charles "Whitey" Ford (October 21, 1928[1] – October 8, 2020) was a Major League Baseball pitcher who spent his entire 18-year career with the New York Yankees. He was voted into the Hall of Fame in 1974.

Ford died on October 8, 2020, at his home in Lake Success, New York from dementia-related problems at the age of 91.[2]
