Western Block Party

The Western Block Party (or WBP) was a conservative political party in Canada. It wanted Western Canada to become independent from the rest of Canada. It was founded in 2005.[1] It first ran candidates in the 2006 federal elections. The party's current leader is Paul St. Laurent.[2]

The WBP was not affiliated with some other independent parties in western Canada, such as the Alberta First Party and the Western Independence Party of Saskatchewan.
